My print partner generates the tracking number and fires off the shipping notification the moment the label is created — which is before the parcel is physically handed over to the carrier. That's why the carrier site shows "label created, awaiting parcel" while my email already says it's shipped.
It's frustrating, I know — it makes it look like something's gone wrong when it hasn't.
The carrier will scan it in and tracking will start moving normally once that happens — usually within a one to three days.
